Creative businesses across the South West are being invited to offer graduate placements under a new scheme being run by Bournemouth University called STRIDE.

What is STRIDE?
• Run by Bournemouth University
• Funded by the South West RDA
• Provides short-term graduate placements of 1 to 6 months duration
• Targets South West businesses
• Works with over 200 graduates

How does STRIDE work?
STEP 1: Interested businesses complete a web based expression of interest form at www.bournemouth.ac.uk/careers/stride
STEP 2: More information is then sent out which includes a placement form for your completion
STEP 3: The STRIDE team will then advertise this opportunity and will provide businesses with completed STRIDE application forms from potential candidates for your selection
STEP 4: Businesses select and employ the graduate of their choice

What will STRIDE graduates have studied?
STRIDE graduates will come from a wide range of different degree backgrounds. Examples include:
• Creative industries
• Information and communication technology
• Business
