Tuesday’s Budget sees the new government set out its immediate spending plans. It’s fair to say business will be hanging on Chancellor George Osborne’s every word. But so should design.

Will tight public finances mean a squeeze on business and a drop in spending on activity like design? Or will a challenging economy signal more demand for innovation – and the design capability that unlocks it?

We’ll be discussing the Budget and what it means for design in a live Facebook forum on Wednesday 23 June, from 11am until 12.30pm. Responding to your views will be Our Deputy Chief Executive David Godber, Chief Design Officer Mat Hunter and Policy Director Christopher Exeter. Don’t miss out.
