ENTERPRISE EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME.
This is an invitation to find interested SMEs to participate in the Enterprise Experience Programme.
This EU programme allows European Commission (EC) officials from the Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry undertake a short-term placement (up to one week) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the European Union (EU) and helps the European Commission to achieve greater success in its support activities for SMEs. Our region has been directly approached by the European Commission to visit Bristol based companies from the Consultancy service, Media/Communication or Recruitment sector.
The programme
• aims to provide EC officials with a hands-on experience of the business environment in which SMEs operate, allowing them to better represent SME interests in European policy making;
• allows EC officials to present to the host companies and to the local business community the EU’s policies of importance to business;
• provides a unique opportunity for SMEs to have direct contact with officials of the European Commission, bringing the EU closer to its citizens.
Companies interested in participating in the programme should register their interest before the 8th September by contacting Claudia Lock-Fuerst by email; info@enterpriseeuropesw.org.uk or telephone 01275 370 997. We aim to organise the visit in October/November. A complete programme incl. company networking events for the visit will be prepared by the Enterprise Europe Network.
