The Sector
Torbay is already home to world-class companies in photonics, fibre optics, environmental marine research, healthcare research & electronics manufacture & test. Torbay has much to offer the Hi Tech sector and its related industries: Competitive costs, high staff loyalty and an excellent quality of life are benefits that have already helped this sector develop.

The Event
The event aims to bring togther Hi Tech businesses in the South West peninsula including suppliers, support industries, students, education & training partners, business support partners & job seekers with a genuine interest in working within the sector. As well as our comprehensive programme of seminar topics running throughout the day there will also be an exhibition of key companies & organisations within the sector. Confirmed exhibitors include: Bishop Fleming, Astra Zeneca, the Select Group, Hymid, Spirent, Syntech, South West Communications, University of Exeter, South Devon College with more still to confirm.

The Attendees
The TDA and Hi-Tech Forum also hope that businesses across the South West, key business support partners, including education and training partners, will also look to attend and participate, in order to build on the strengths of this important sector and look to assist with generating further economic growth.
