BE PART OF THE LARMER TREE FEASTIVAL 2011
The Larmer Tree Festival takes place between 13 -17 July 2011 and will be celebrating its 21st year. The event takes place on the WIltshire/Dorset Border between Blandford and Salisbury
The Festival is in the process of making lots of plans and are looking for inspiring artists and craftspeople.
Site Artists can add to the festival in many different ways – from striking, strong pieces that can’t be missed or more subtle work to be discovered as the audience wander around the site, to structured pieces that are illuminated and particularly come alive at night. The Artists’ Quarter is returning for the ninth year and Larmer Tree Festival are looking for talented artists and craftspeople to participate. The AQ is a hubbub of creativity, located in a large marquee within the festival Village, a prime spot for trading! Sharing this space is the delectable Artscaf, selling a range of delicious treats and refreshments. You can download the application form here
Also Larmer Tree offers a programme of over 150 free workshops and sessions for all ages, ranging from arts and crafts, music, dance, drama, children’s shows, spoken word, storytelling, literature, singing to yoga and tai chi. The emphasis is on participation and trying something new throughout the festival from Thursday 14th July to Sunday 17th July. Download the specific application form here.
