51 Studio is a graphic design and communications company situated in the South West.

We are an innovative, creative and happy design studio and work across all types of media. We have a depth of knowledge of branding systems, corporate id, exhibition graphics, digital media, print design, advertising and illustration. This means we can take on pretty much any project you can throw at us, large or small, complex or elementary. Whether you are a sole trader or the government, we will apply our design expertise and enthusiasm to help you achieve your goal – success!

We like to turn left when your instinct is to turn right, and even though sometimes it looks a bit scary, we feel it is our duty to show you what lies at the end of that road. Nothing is boring, everything is interesting and by taking a creative leap, I think we can both be pleasantly surprised by the end result.

City Through A Lens: Plymouth and West Devon Record Office asked us to help design an outdoor photographic exhibition, 'City through a lens' -exploring Plymouth’s heritage from the 1930s until the 1970s. Situated at the Jigsaw Gardens, Place De Brest and Frankfort Gate, Plymouth.
Wow Cards: We were approached by Renaissance South West to create a brand i.d. and supporting materials to promote all the good work that volunteers do for Museums in the South West. We produced a logotype to go on tees and bags and a toolkit of positive icons such as smiley faces, arrows, rainbows and flowers, and applied them to some super positive words. Thus producing some super positive and excellent stat cards!
