With over 17 years experience in design, 14 of those in web design, I have gathered a unique set of skills and experience within the creative industry. I started my career as an in-house designer for a natural toiletries manufacturer designing products, packaging and promotional materials. My career moved into web design when in it was still in its infancy and I been a part of the internet world as it has grown and matured into the mainstream industry it is today. I worked for a year in a small local firm learning web skills before being head hunted by a large London agency with well known national and international clients on its books. Afer this I ran my own business for a couple of years before merging with pulse8 to become a director and to head up and improve the creative department. Now I am back doing what I love, focusing on design for my own clients and freelancing.

My approach to design is straightforward, design should communicate, it should speak to its target market and above all it should get results. Design needs to work for the client and it should be instrumental in the growth and success of their business. I believe the best way to achieve this is to really listen to the client, to try and understand their business and customers, to understand what makes them tick, and most importantly, to engage the client in every step of the creative process.
