Have relocated from London to Exmouth where I am in the stages of creating ‘beet.me’.
My education is in Fashion, BA(Hons) at Central St.Martins, and MA at Royal College of Art, I also taught at BA & MA level in Fashion.
Between BA and MA I set about gaining much knowledge of the whole process within Fashion, so I know how to print (digital & screen), weave, knit, sew, pattern cut, as well as the main arena of design.
Currently extending my knowledge within Dreamweaver and Flash, already have vast knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop, using such on Macs since ‘96.
Also currently working on renewing my portfolio and since and during, my Masters have worked in conjunction with other disciplines within design (be it graphic, product, ceramic designers, etc)and want to continue that way.
My work has always been in the ’high end’ of the market, and have mainly covered the main scheduled catwalk shows with designs, pattern cutting, make of show pieces and also organising and running shows back stage.
So that’s a lot of information, but basically relocated, thoroughly enjoy working with others and their differing disciplines, since it gives such great alternative perspectives to answering design briefs.
